Vape Juice Review: Fryd : Cream Cake

Vape Juice - Fryd Cream Cake

Twinkies are considered a classic treat from our childhood. Let’s be honest; we eat them as adults too. Because they’re so popular, people found a way to make these awesome spongey, creamy treats even better by DEEP FRYING THEM!  If you don’t know where to get fried twinkies or don’t know how to make them, don’t worry.  There’s juice for that. 🙂

Fryd has a variety of different liquids based on deep-fried treats. You can find fried watermelon, banana, chocolate cookies, twinkies (obviously), and more! Today we are going to look at their Cream Cake brand to see if it brings us back to our childhood.  It sure looks promising!

Let’s vape!

I ordered my bottle of Fryd Cream Cake from Premium Vape Supply. I paid 16.95 for a 60ml bottle, which is fair. It’s sometimes iffy buying 60ml bottles of vape juice because you can easily get some 100/120ml bottles for 19.99. However, if the flavor is good, and 100ml isn’t possible a 60ml works.

Fryd Cream Cake comes in 0mg, 3mg, and 6mg, so plenty of options for everyone. The VG/PG  mix is the standard 70/30 mix. This tells us to expect decent clouds, and the ability to use a tank or dripper.

The flavor description reads that it is, “is your favorite dessert pastry infused with rich, decadent vanilla cream filling.” Sounds delicious. It brings me back to getting these little treats growing up. Remember the excitement when you looked in your lunch box and saw and twinkie?

Once my bottle arrived, I shook it up, cracked the seal, and gave it a sniff. I noticed that it smells OVERWHELMINGLY like cake. You also get a hint of the “fried” flavor. It’s hard to describe, but when you smell it, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Still, the smell was decent.  My hopes were still high for this vape juice.

The taste test

It’s time to vape.  I loaded up my Smok Cloud Beast with FRYD Cream Cake. I’m currently using a .15 build at 100 watts.

I took a big mouth to lung hit and tried to savor the inhale. I’ll be honest; the inhale is lacking flavor. You get that weird “fried” taste in your mouth, and it is exceptionally smooth.  Here is to hoping the exhale is better.

It was. The exhale was about 100% better than the inhale. You get the taste of Twinkies. The flavor of delicious sponge cake with a hint of cream filled my mouth. It’s flavorful but smooth. You don’t have to worry about coughing on this stuff. Just for reference, I’m using 3mg for my review.

The aftertaste is also grand. You taste the cream with a mix of that “friend” doughy taste. It’s delicious. I wasn’t quite a fan of their version of fried Oreos, but I can dig this. Let’s wrap this up.

final score

I would say this juice is good for purchase IF you are a fan of creamy dessert vapes. It’s not going to be for everyone. The inhale leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise, the taste is great.

+Delicious Twinkie exhale

+Decent Clouds

-“Fried” taste takes some getting used to

-Almost flavorless inhale

-No 100ml option?

Score: 3.5 out of 5
