Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today’s review is Killer Kustard by Vapetasia. If you are a big fan of custard, you might be here to see if this is for you. Let’s take a look at some information about this juice, dissect the flavor and vapor production, and finally, I am going to give it my Vape or Pass seal of approval! Without further delay, let’s dive in and see what this juice is all about, shall we?
What is Killer Kustard About?
Killer Kustard comes in a 100mg chubby gorilla bottle, which seems to be the new norm for many companies out there. Personally, I think this is an excellent choice in bottle design. It allows you to get a ton of juice and is easy to use with top fill tanks (like mine!) Vapetasia is the company behind this juice. They are known for their Kustard…erm..custard flavors. They do have other lines available such as their parfait series, as well as their lemonades.
The design of the bottle is fantastic. It is a bowl of custard with an eye patch and a bunch of destroyed cigarettes behind him. The colors and design are obviously referencing a certain movie. -ahem, Kill Bill ahem-
This particular juice is 70%VG and 30%PG so you can expect some nice clouds. I picked up my bottle from Premium Vape Supply. One 100ml bottle costs $19.95, which if we are being honest, is a steal. It comes in a box with no extras — though for some reason I DID randomly get a mini pack of Cotton Bacon V2 one time when I ordered a bottle. You can order Killer Kustard in 0,3 and 6mg nicotine.
Taste test and vapor production
I am currently using The Cloud Beast tank, which has served me well. As soon as you open the bottle, you get hit in the face with a sweet vanilla smell. Personally, I was excited because in my experience if juice smells good, it tastes good.
I loaded up my tank and took a long pull off of my Alien 220 watt mod. I instantly tasted sweet custard, with no throat hit. As I exhaled, I got some awesome clouds going and the taste of vanilla blends with the custard and it is pretty darn delicious. It tastes warm, sweet, and just like a fresh vanilla custard. There is a mild throat hit on exhale, but even the most novice vaper will be able to vape it comfortably.
I do have one complaint about this juice, sometimes it isn’t steeped all the way. One bottle that I ordered needed to steep for about two weeks. If you don’t steep it, you will not get much of the custard flavor, which is the high point of this juice. If you are okay with steeping your juice sometimes this won’t be much of a problem for you. It is easy to tell if it needs to be steeped. Perfectly steeped juice will appear a bright yellow. If it needs to be steeped, it will be light yellow and almost transparent.
Vape or Pass?
You probably figured it out by now, but this is definitely a VAPE. There is no doubt about that. Here are the pros and cons:
+Good vapor production
+Awesome bottle design
-May need to be steeped
